I find meaning in Christmas by focusing on baby Jesus. I enjoy babies so much, I like to wonder what Jesus was like as a baby. I like to imagine the joy and delight that Mary and Joseph took in snuggling with him. I also think about God looking down on His son and also delighting in the preciousness of His son. To think that God sent Jesus just to be killed for our redemption is incomprehensible to me.
Yet, that very fact is the best reminder I can have that despite what suffering I have been through, God loves me and delights in me.
